Recently, China Faw Group Import and Export Co., Ltd. and China Power Construction Group Co., Ltd. successfully held the Jiefang JH6 dump truck delivery ceremony at the site of Lesotho Highland water conservancy project. Up to now, 70 engineering vehicles have been delivered.

The Lesotho Highland Water Project (Polihali Dam Project) is the first successful cooperation between China FAW and Power China Construction, and the first national key project that FAW has participated in in Lesotho. The project is located in the town of Mohotron in the northeast highlands of Lesotho. It is a cross-border water project jointly established and managed by the government of Lesotho and South Africa. The Polyhali Joint Venture undertook the construction of the Polyhali Dam, the auxiliary dam, the cofferdam, and the water tunnel from the Polyhali Dam to the Cates Dam.

As the largest bilateral infrastructure construction project between the government of Lesotho and South Africa, it is expected that after the completion of the project, on the one hand, it will effectively solve the water shortage problem in South Africa, and on the other hand, it will help Lesotho achieve self-sufficiency in electricity.

In the future, China FAW Import and Export Company will actively seize the opportunities of the "Belt and Road", deepen the cooperation between central enterprises, continue to explore overseas markets, and make new overseas contributions to comprehensively win the overseas development and accelerate the breakthrough battle to build a world-class automobile enterprise!
